Vandals hit Cunningham Elementary School last night, leaving some students without electricity Thursday morning.

The vandals broke into electrical service boxes located along the school’s eastern boundary, behind some portable classrooms. They then cut through several large electrical wires.

The vandalism left 11 classrooms without power as students arrived Thursday morning. By 9 a.m., power had been restored to all but four classrooms.

It is unknown at this time if anything was stolen, or if there are any suspects. TurlockCityNews.com will provide more information on this story as it becomes available.

Looks like everyone is getting sick of the tweekers. I wonder what the solution to the meth head scourge of Turlock will be. Perhaps more taxpayer-funded beautification projects.
