The Turlock Fire Department has reported that it is on the scene of a train vs. pedestrian accident. The Tuolumne railroad crossing is closed and the Fulkerth railroad crossing is still under construction. 
Turlock Mayor Gary Soiseth took three appointments from Councilwoman Amy Bublak, argued with her over her concern that the City of Turlock had multiple vacant management positions while not allowing legal counsel to answer Bublak’s question, and followed that all up with a publicly witnessed door slamming, yelling fit berating Councilwoman Bublak.
The Turlock City Council has been planning on hiring a new city manager since April, about six months ago, but the national recruitment was ended by Council and with no candidate being chosen. Mayor Gary Soiseth had presented a new hiring process in May that he stated would be done quickly and allow significant overlap with now former City Manager Gary Hampton who was set to retire in August.
Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputies are currently investigating the scene of a homicide in South Turlock. Firefighters and Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of Golf Road at about 1:44 a.m. for a report of a man that had been shot.
Turlock firefighters have responded to the 900 block of North Palm Street for a report of a gas leak. The call was received around 12:25 p.m.
Parents are asking for the public’s help in finding their missing daughter who needs her medication. 17-year-old Alexis Simmons was last seen running away out the side door of her workplace, Round Table Pizza on Geer Road.
The Turlock Police Department was called out to Donnelly Park on the report of a man making rude and obscene gestures to females walking by, on Monday morning. When police officers arrived at around 8:15 a.m., they found Anjelo Kanef, 29 of Turlock, sitting in his car next to a laptop computer with pornography on it, as well as other adult products. 
Turlock police and firefighters have responded to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a train. A train was stopped at West Canal Drive and North Front Street at around 10:50 a.m.
Turlock police officers and firefighters have responded to a call that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on West Christoffersen Parkway, between Walnut Road and Panorama Avenue. Witnesses told TurlockCityNews.com on scene that a kid, possibly a student, was hit by a vehicle.
Turlock Police and Fire personnel have responded to the area of Golden State Boulevard, between Hawkeye Avenue and Del’s Lane, due to reports of a pedestrian being hit. At about 7:20 p.m., police have blocked off Golden State between Hawkeye and Del’s.
