The railroad tracks at Monte Vista were scheduled to be closed from Aug. 8 to Aug. 10 but Union Pacific Railroad has pushed the days back. The road is now scheduled to take place Monday, Aug. 22 to Wednesday, Aug. 24 and will be in effect at all hours.
Nearly a year to the date that the original Turlock skate park closed on Starr Avenue, the City of Turlock has finally completed their work on the new iteration of the Brandon Koch Memorial Skate Park. Skaters will be able to skate the park this afternoon as the City has planned a “soft opening” before holding a grand opening.
