School has been back in session for only a week now and police have already been called out to the Brown Elementary campus. The Turlock Police Department responded to a report of a Turlock Unified School District employee finding a bag that contained a box of ammunition and a magazine at Brown Elementary.
The Turlock Narcotics Enforcement Team carried out a drug bust that led to six people being arrested in the 200 block of Angelus. A search warrant was served on Tuesday due to suspicion of on-going sales of narcotics.
Residents of Turlock noticed a lot of water in the storm basin at Summerfaire Park despite the fact California is in a drought and many recent water conservation restrictions are being imposed and enforced. “What's up with the park off Fulkerth and Soderquist,” asked one of TurlockCityNews.com’s readers on Facebook. “It's filled with water. Looks like all the water we have saved on our lawns was thrown away.”
