The history of Easter goes back a long time involving many different cultures. This celebration in our current day and country celebrates the resurection of Jesus Christ. In all actuality, this "remembrance" of Jesus takes place every first day of the week (Sunday) through communion according to Cor 11:23-30 and Acts 20:7.
