California State University, Stanislaus will celebrate its first Founders Week celebration Sept. 14-18. The week will include concerts, food booths, entertainment, a family fun zone, merchant fair, campus tours and more to cap three years of celebrating the University’s 1957 founding and 1960 opening. For seventeen years, the Garden Party served as the premier fundraising event for the arts in Turlock. It was discontinued last year. However, it is back! It is also the start of a new tradition, as it will be the first event hosted by the Carnegie Arts Center Foundation since it assumed full responsibility for the operation of the Carnegie Arts Center.
