Jason Starn was born in Modesto, California where he has lived most of his life.

He attended Modesto Junior College where he received an Associates Degree in Psychology. He then transferred to California State University of California where he completed a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English.

After taking some time off to consider his next step in education he then completed the first year of Law School at Laurence Drivon School of Law at Humphrey's before changing his mind and completing a Master’s of Information Systems Degree from Phoenix University Online.

He and his wife Julie live in the Turlock area with their three cats. He enjoys reading authors such as James Joyce and Jacques Lacan and is an on again off again PC Gamer.
Referenced many times on the hit TV Show American Dad, the band Night Ranger has withstood the test of time proving that they can, in fact, “Still Rock in America.”  Now you have the opportunity to see them live at the Stanislaus State Fair!
With the latest City Council elections coming up, there will be a new twist as the city will be divided up into four districts due to the passage of Measure A in 2014. The district boundaries came about as a result of Measure A passing with 73.76 percent, or 9,685 votes, saying “yes” and 26.24 percent, or 3,446 votes, saying “no.”

Lost Pit Bull

The City of Turlock Animal Shelter currently has a pit bull waiting to be reunited with its owner.
If you are still using tickets to ride BLaST you need to use them up quick or trade them in for the new passes. As of June 30, 2016 they will no longer be accepted.
After being arrested by STING (Special Team Investigating Narcotics and Gangs) deputies this morning, a Turlock man was booked into Stanislaus County Jail for charges including attempted murder. Kevin Barnes, 20, was booked at the Stanislaus County Jail this morning for attempted murder, possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony, and committing a felony while out on bail.
