FAMILY FUN DAY
WHO:
The City of Turlock Recreation Division will be collaborating with Social Services agencies in Turlock for Family Fun Day at Columbia Park. All families living in the Turlock community are invited to attend.
WHAT:
The Recreation Division of the City of Turlock, Turlock Community Collaborative, Turlock Against Gangs, Turlock Police Activities League, TNT Productions, Dior Beauty College, and the Turlock Family Resource Center are partnering in order bring needed services and information directly to the residents of this community. TNT Productions will be providing children’s activities such as hoola hoops, boom blaster, gunnie sack racing, limbo contest, and water balloon toss. Dior Beauty College will be giving free haircuts, and the Turlock Family Resource Center will be enrolling pregnant moms for their healthy birth outcomes classes.

WHY:
The City of Turlock and Social Services agencies will have the opportunity to disseminate information, educate, and assist individuals who attend this event. The purpose is to empower members of this community with obtaining health care services, knowledge about healthy birth outcomes, gang awareness, and higher education by providing them with direct access to these agencies.
