The Turlock Police Department located the eight-year-old missing juvenile, BENNY ATHAN PEREZ. He spent the night at another family member’s house in Turlock without the mother’s permission/knowledge. The juvenile is in good health and has been returned to the mother.

At Risk Missing Juvenile
400 South Avenue – Wakefield School
On Friday, October 3, 2008, at approximately 10:00 p.m. the mother of eight-year-old BENNY ATHAN PEREZ called the Turlock Police Department reporting that he was missing.
BENNY ATHAN PEREZ was last seen earlier in the day attending Wakefield Elementary School, 400 South Avenue in Turlock. BENNY’s eleven-year-old sister saw him at school during school hours. After school, BENNY did not return home and has not been seen since the end of the school day. BENNY lives in the 900 block of Vermont Avenue in Turlock.
BENNY ATHAN PEREZ is described as a Hispanic male juvenile approximately 3’2” tall weighing 60 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. BENNY was last seen wearing a navy-blue t-shirt, jean shorts, black shoes, and was carrying a camouflage backpack.
BENNY ATHAN PEREZ has no history of running away. The Turlock Police Department is continuing an ongoing, active investigation and search effort. Several resources have been committed to the search for BENNY ATHEN PEREZ.
