Turlock Council Contributions of $15,000 and $10,000

Walnut Creek based development companies, in relation to Monte Vista Crossings, have donated $25,000 towards Amy Bublak and Kurt Vander Weide campaigns ($15,000 to Bublak and $10,000 to Vander Weide).
 

Financial statements have been filed by Turlock City Council Candidates planning on receiving or spending $1,000 or more.
 

The 460 forms showed total amounts raised, contributors of over $99, expenditures, and such.
There were not many highlights besides the big donations from developers related to Monte Vista Crossings’ towards Bublak and Vander Weide campaigns versus the many smaller donations to Mary Jackson and David Fransen campaigns. Bublak and Vander Weide both are paying Fogliani Strategies out of Stockton for campaign services. Jim Sarnowsky did not have to file.
 
 

Totals and notable contributions:
 
Jim Sarnowsky had less than $1,000 as of 09/30/08.
 

David Fransen had a total of $4,533.19 as of 09/30/08.
Nancy Santos contributed $500.00 and Thomas Farr contributed $340.00. Dr. Robert Santos, TID Director and Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital Owner contributed $200.00.
 

Mary Jackson had a total of $7,893.15 as of 09/30/08.
Jeani Ferrari contributed $1,000. Councilwoman Beverly Hatcher contributed $200. Operating Engineers Local #3 gave a nonmonetary donation of $744.15 in printing.
 

Kurt Vander Weide had a total of $16,333.88 as of 09/30/08.
Monte Vista Crossings contributed $10,000. Berryhill for Assembly 2008 contributed $1,000. Bill Berryhill for Assembly contributed $500. Dennis Buchanan, Buchanan Enterprises, contributed $1,000. Jerry Powell, Buchanan Enterprises, contributed $200. Chris Kiriakou, Cornerstone Consulting, contributed $100. Jim Theis, Real Estate Broker, contributed $100. California Heirlooms, home builders, gave a nonmonetary donation of $490.53 in event supplies.
 

Amy Bublak had a total of $26,250 as of 09/30/08.
Monte Vista Hotel Inc, LLC contributed $5,000. Monte Vista Crossings – East West contributed $10,000. Dennis Buchanan, Buchanan Enterprises, contributed $1,000. Jerry Powell, Buchanan Enterprises, contributed $500. Jim Demartini, Stanislaus County Supervisor, contributed $250.
