Amp It Up by Bill Weber of Turlock

Amp It Up by Bill Weber of TurlockTURLOCK  - Using lessons learned on the tennis court and the boardroom, tennis pro Bill Weber has written a guide on how to achieve your best performance.

In “Amp It Up, Train Your Brain for Success,” Weber, an award-winning United States Professional Tennis Association teaching pro, gives readers the secret to reaching their highest potential in sports, business and life.

Weber, 50, said his life and practical experiences as a corporate manager, business owner and tennis pro, taught him the traits, skills and characteristics shared by all highly successful people.

“Amp It Up,” is the acronym for what the Turlock resident teaches: Attitude, Mental State, Preparation, Intensity, Tenacity, Unyielding Standards, and Passion.

“I’ve been to all these different motivational seminars, like Dale Carnegie, and they’re all saying the same thing,” said Weber. “However, I think I have an easier delivery system.”

It’s a system based on his proven method of teaching youngsters how to play tennis. “I have a burning desire to improve any 10-year-old player,” said Weber. “I wrote the book so a 10-year old could understand.”

Noted sports professionals and business leaders also are quick to understand Weber’s message.

“Whether it’s in the boardroom or locker room, the “Amp It Up” principles are the same,” said Dick Gould, John L. Hinds Director of Tennis, Stanford University. “I  recommend “Amp It Up” for anyone striving to excel in their field.”

“Amp It Up” is priced at $20 and available at Brenda Athletic Clubs in Modesto and Turlock and online at: www.BillWeberBooks.com.
