“High School Musical” stars Corbin Bleu and Justin Martin made an appearance at Walnut Elementary today. The stars’ appearance was a prize from a contest that Walnut student Bronwyn Arnold entered.
Bronwyn Arnold submitted a video in the Sara Lee Soft & Smooth “Lunchtime is Showtime” contest that was to motive kids and families to know more about the benefits of whole grain.
Arnold is a sixth grader that has hopes of making it in Hollywood. She took her ambition and gathered some peers to make a commercial titled “Fueled for Fun.” The video features the kids dancing and playing in bread costumes. The commercial was put on the company’s contest website and ended up receiving the most votes.
Very few people knew about the stars showing up in Turlock including Bronwyn’s mom, Carleigh. Carleigh told her daughter the week the stars were coming to Turlock.
Actors, Corbin Bleu and Justin Martin, came to the Walnut Elementary campus and excited many students. The stars handed out lunches to the kids and gave away photos. Bleu and Martin talked with the students while signing autographs.
Their main goal was accomplished as they spoke about healthy lifestyle living and definitely got everyone excited about knowing about whole grain.
