Photo red light cameras, surface water project, teleconferencing policy, and addressing growth north of Taylor are all on the agenda for Today.

Turlock City Council Meeting
April 28, 2009 at 7:00pm
156 S. Broadway in the Yosemite Room in City Hall

Agenda:

An automated photo red light enforcement system will be considered for use at the busy intersections of Monte Vista Avenue and Golden State Boulevard and Geer Road and Hawkeye Avenue.

The City Council will also consider approval for the City of Turlock to participate in a Joint Powers Authority with Modesto, Ceres, and Hughson to discuss, develop, and negotiate alternatives for a surface water project to be built. If approved city staff will be directed work on the joint construction, ownership, and operation of the Surface Water Project as originally proposed by the Turlock Irrigation District.

The City Council will also be considering authorization for the Mayor to enter into discussions with the County of Stanislaus to address growth and development north of Taylor Road and/or outside the City’s Sphere of Influence.

Adopting a policy for teleconferencing at City Council Meetings will also be discussed.
