This band is “Workin’ For A Livin’” as they bring their amazing music to the 2009 Stanislaus County Fair free stage.
Grammy award-winning Huey Lewis and The News will perform, Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at the Stanislaus County Fair on the Budweiser Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m. This concert is hosted by 104.1 The Hawk and is free with the price of Fair admission.
“The music of Huey Lewis and The News is irresistible,” said Pennie Rorex, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “It will be hip to be square at this year’s Stanislaus County Fair.”
2009 marks the 30th anniversary of when Huey Lewis and The News was formed from two rival Bay Area bands in 1979. Since the group’s beginning, they have sold over 20 million albums and have toured worldwide continuously.
