TURLOCKLarry Reynolds, who has coached Division I and II championship teams at Long Beach State and Cal State San Bernardino, has been named the new head men’s basketball team coach at California State University, Stanislaus.

“Larry has the experience and skill to help our student-athletes compete at the highest level,” Richards said.

CSU Stanislaus President Dr. Hamid Shirvani said Reynolds brings the kind of leadership that will help the Warriors become competitive in the Division II California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).

“We are pleased about hiring someone of Larry’s caliber who can lead our basketball team to success,” President Shirvani said. “He has extensive coaching experience and has produced winning teams. I am confident that our men’s basketball team will excel under his leadership.”
