Development Committee Report: Turlock’s Better To Work With

A Development Collaborative Advisory Committee (DCAC) was formed in July 2007 in response to the Turlock City Council’s direction. Eight DCAC members from different aspects of the development community have been working on their mission to review the City’s development standards, policies, and procedures. The City of Turlock has had such a horrible reputation for being hard to work with in the departments of Planning, Building, and Engineering.
The DCAC gives an annual report and did so at Tuesday night’s Turlock City Council Meeting.
Turlock attorney and DCAC Member Axel Gomez stated that the DCAC is working to make Turlock a better place to do business. Read More…

City of Turlock General Plan and Housing Element Update
Focus Group Workshop #1: Potential City Expansion Areas

The City of Turlock will hold its first focus group workshop to discuss the preliminary expansion areas that are being considered as part of the City’s General Plan Update. The meeting is intended to provide property owners and potential developers in the potential expansion areas an opportunity to have one-on-one discussions with City staff and consultants. Property owners who are concerned about the locations for new development; new parks, roads, and community facilities; improvements to the existing older areas of the City; or other City development issues, will want to participate in these meetings.
