College students moved back into The Village campus housing at California State University, Stanislaus on Friday.
Friday was “move in day” at CSU Stanislaus where students were given unloading time slots between 7:00am to 3:30pm to get their belongings into their new residencies.
CSU Stanislaus assisted all the students making the move to live on campus a little easier with staff and volunteers.
Student and parent orientation sessions were held while many activities have been planned to help students get acquainted with each other and the campus.
Friday’s “move in day” was just the beginning of a “welcome” holiday weekend. An ice cream social was held during the day while many other activities are planned such as town hall styled floor meetings, parties, a dance, and competitive games.
Nearly 500 new students moved their belongings into The Village on September 4, 2009.
CSUS classes begin September 9, 2009.
