Our goals are to raise awareness of MedicAlert’s “Safely Ever After™” program, PTA Membership and the Just Say Go campaign to encourage student attendance in K-12.
Any money raised through committed proceeds will go to the “Safely Ever After™” program which is a program that provides free MedicAlert bracelets to TUSD students who need them until their 14th birthday. MedicAlert’s plans to take this program nationwide but they are starting it in Turlock since that’s where MedicAlert was founded.
All you have to do is visit one of the participating restaurants and tell them you are “Dining for Community Unity” and a portion of your bill will be donated to MedicAlert’s “Safely Ever After™” program!
The goal of this campaign is to:
-Raise money and awareness for MedicAlert’s “Safely Ever After™” program. This life-saving program gives Turlock children in need MedicAlert membership and ID at no cost to parents/guardians.
-Raise awareness for the Just Say Go! campaign to promote school attendance. Just 1% increase in attendance of children will provide Turlock Unified School District over $700,000 in revenue.
-Raise awareness of the PTA membership theme “Building Community Unity”. Promoting membership in the largest volunteer child advocacy association throughout the nation.
Turlock Council PTA invites you to show your support for our youth! Present the flyer available here to one of our partner restaurants listed on the flyer Thursday, February 4th and they will donate to Safely Ever After™
More information, more flyers (don’t forget breakfast, lunch, dinner, and ICE CREAM!), menus, or an updated list of restaurants visit www.turlockpta.org/dfcu.
MedicAlert’s Safely Ever After™
With the rise of childhood diabetes, asthma, and allergies, it is estimated that one of five children has a medical condition or special need that should be communicated to emergency medical personnel in an emergency.
Safely Ever After™ provides a Turlock child with the 24-hour protection of MedicAlert’s nationally recognized emergency information services FREE until the child’s 14th birthday!
