This year the Walnut Elementary Education Center in collaboration with Turlock Irrigation District and the City of Turlock will host the first annual Energy Faire on October 2nd.
The event will serve to help raise awareness of energy conservation and local energy practices available in the community.
The Saturday event will be a community event complete with local vendors, TID, City of Turlock, and Walnut Elementary School and will focus on energy efficiency solutions.
There will be a panel of experts available to discuss solar installation, TID programs, and city projects.
This is an energy faire with something for the entire family – student demonstrations, the TID Pedal Power Display, environmental read-alouds, and much more.
