Stanislaus County Fair pre-sale discounts end today, Thursday, July 14 at 7 p.m.

The 2011 Stanislaus County Fair opens Friday, July 15 for its annual 10-day run. Pre-sale discounted adult admission tickets and carnival ride wristbands are on sale now through July 14 at 7 p.m. Pre-sale discounted adult admission tickets are $10 (regular $12) and pre-sale discounted unlimited carnival ride wristbands are $23 (regular $30). Discount tickets can be purchased online at www.StanCoFair.com or in person at the Fair office, 900 N. Broadway, Turlock, or at Valley First Credit Union branches in Oakdale, Ceres, Modesto and Turlock during regular business hours. While discounts conclude the day before the Fair opens, Fair guests can still save time at the gate by purchasing tickets online all the way through closing day of the Fair.

“The Fair is just around the corner,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.

“This year we are excited about our discounts and promotions, including this great pre-Fair opportunity for guests to save money.”

There will also be various admission discounts available during the 10-day run of the Fair, see the Fair’s website www.StanCoFair.com for more information. All carnival rides will be just $1 on opening night, Friday, July 15. This year’s Fair-time discounts include “Free ‘til 3 p.m. Sundays” sponsored by Fox 40.

Guests can come into the Fair for free Sunday, July 17 and 24 from noon until 3 p.m. Plus, Fair guests can park for FREE by taking part in the Park N’ Ride shuttle program. The locations of the Park N’ Ride shuttle stops are California State University Stanislaus (parking lots located on Crowell, off Monte Vista) and Pitman High School (parking lots on Christoffersen). This FREE service will run each day during the 10 days of the Fair, weekdays from 4:30 p.m. to midnight and weekends from 11:30 a.m. to midnight with shuttles departing to and from the Fairgrounds every 15 minutes. Parking at the Fairgrounds will still be available for a fee of $4 per vehicle.

Guests can also save money with the Fair’s new ticket options, which includes the Fair’s once in a lifetime 100 Year Pass to the Stanislaus County Fair good for 100 years! The price of the 100 Year Pass is $500, giving you a savings of $11,500 (with ticket prices remaining the same). The 100 Year Pass will be available through the 10-day run of the Fair. The Fair’s new Season Pass which offers 10 adult admissions for $75, giving you a savings of $45, is available online or at the Fair office until July 14 at 7 p.m.

The 2011 Stanislaus County Fair opens for its 100th anniversary celebration Friday, July 15 for a 10-day run. Fair guests can count on an award-winning experience that has been 100 years in the making. Discounted Fair admission tickets, unlimited ride wristbands and Arena event tickets are on sale now. Visit the Fair’s website for complete ticket sale details at www.stancofair.com.

The 2011 Fair will feature a newly renovated children’s area, which will include the highly-popular Rainforest Adventure, sponsored by Sky Trek Aviation, and animal shows, sponsored by Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital, which debuted in 2009.  Also planned for 2011 are nine nights of metal-mashing motorsports plus one night of rodeo in the FoodMaxx Arena, a total of four stages of live entertainment, upwards of 30,000 local exhibits and over 1,750 animals.

Fair guests 55+ will have a place to call their own during the 10 days of Fair. The climate-controlled 55+ Relaxation Station, sponsored by Covenant Village of Turlock, provides entertainment, seminars, information and a place to relax and converse. The 55+ Relaxation Station is open weekdays from 5pm-9pm and weekends from noon to 9pm.
