Turlock Farmers’ Market, Evening Edition

People shopping the first Turlock Farmers' Market evening edition held on June 24, 2011.For those who usually can’t make the Turlock Farmers’ Market on Friday mornings, this Friday night from 4pm – 8pm will be the second evening Turlock Farmers’ Market. The evening time slot is in addition to the usual Farmers Market time of 8am – 1pm.

 
Along with some of the usual produce, craft, and food vendors, some special vendors will be on hand for the evening market with everything from heirloom tomatoes to potted plant arrangements. Local beekeeper and honey vendor, Golden Comb will be sampling their wines, including their popular honey wine. Dust Bowl Brewery is looking forward to the added exposure from the evening market and will have additional staff on hand to accommodate market patrons.
 
Special performances include: A live square dance performance by Turlock Steppin’ Pards, music by local folk band, Red Dog Ash, and musical guest Totally Frank, a market favorite. TID’s Education Trailer, also known as their “mobile classroom” will be there, as well as The Carnegie Arts Center promoting their much anticipated opening next month.
 
There will be one more night market on Friday, October 28th. 
 
The Turlock Farmers’ Market is held on Broadway Avenue at W. Main Street. Broadway Avenue will be closed throughout this Friday, August 26th, for the morning and evening market.
