The Turlock Salvation Army is hosting "Pull for the Salvation Army," a sporting clay charity tournament fundraiser, that will be held at Rooster Ranch near Stevinson on September 10, 2011, at 9:00am.
Sporting clay is like skeet shooting, except the shooter shoots from 15 different stations and at different types and sizes of clay targets. The entry will be $100 per shooter, 4 to 5 on a team, includes 100 shotgun shells, lunch, prizes, drawings and auction.
The fundraiser is to benefit the Turlock Community Center located on Lander Avenue that provides programs for children on the Westside of Turlock. At risk children have a safe place to “hang out” and learn manners at the Turlock Community Center.
Sponsorships are being sought and registration of teams are now being accepted. The entry form is provided in pdf format below.
