Ring in the holidays and help a great cause at Emanuel Medical Center’s Festival of Trees Gala and Auction benefitting Hospice of Emanuel.
Reservations are now being accepted for the elegant December 3rd event and the deadline to RSVP is November 11. The Festival of Trees Gala and Auction is the year’s major fundraiser for Hospice of Emanuel.
“Festival of Trees is such a special way to kick off the holiday season,” said Shirley Pok, Emanuel’s vice president of development. “It’s an elegant party and fantastic auction that supports the wonderful work done by Hospice of Emanuel.”
The theme of this year’s event is “Under the Big Top.”
The program includes a pre-party at 5 p.m. with wine, champagne, hors d’oeuvres and live music performed by The Valley Cats. Dinner begins at 7 p.m., catered by Hilmar Cheese Company Catering and featuring wines from Gallo Family Vineyards. There will also be a silent auction throughout the evening and an exciting live auction after dinner for a variety of valuable items and experiences. The Valley Cats perform again after the live auction, with dancing from 9:30 p.m. until midnight.
In addition to the auctions, the tradition of dazzling jewelry continues at this year’s gala. An opportunity drawing will feature a gorgeous pair of 18 carat white gold, oval hoop earrings with sparkling diamonds inside and out. Donated by Geiger’s Fine Jewelry, the earrings are 4.0 carats total weight and are valued at $15,000.
The black-tie-preferred event will be held at the Assyrian American Civic Club at 2618 N. Golden State Blvd. in Turlock, and valet parking will be provided. Seating is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
All proceeds – ticket sales, sponsorships, auction purchases, wine sales and live tree sales – go directly to Hospice of Emanuel.
