A Turlock Junior High school student was struck by a vehicle at about 2:30pm in front of the school on North Walnut Road and was airlifted to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
Turlock Police Sergeant Nino Amirfar reported that a 7th grade girl was crossing the road where there was no cross walk and was struck by a vehicle traveling approximately 25 miles an hour.
The incident was still being invested later in the afternoon and appeared to truly be an accident.
