A magical nighttime lighted Christmas parade will illuminate Historic Main Street on December 2, 2011 at 6:30pm.
The Christmas parade was called “Lights on Parade” when it was transformed from the Saturday morning parade to the Friday night lighted parade 7 years ago but is now once again being marketed the Turlock Downtown Christmas Parade. This year will be the 33rd year in existence for the parade.
This event now draws an estimated 25,000 people all at one time so get there early! Plan on buying hot chocolate/coffee, shopping stores & vendors before and after, and then of course, watching one of the best illuminated nighttime parades around.
The Turlock Christmas Parade will run down Main Street and turn on Broadway Avenue to end at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds.
There will also be carriage rides and pictures with Santa being offered downtown.
