The “Rock of Love” and “The Apprentice” rock and reality star, Bret Michaels, is coming to the Stanislaus County Fair.
The rock icon, Bret Michaels, will perform Thursday, July 19th at the Stanislaus County Fair. The concert will be on the free stage at 8:30pm. The concert will be free with the price of Fair admission.
“Bret Michaels fans aren’t going to want to miss out on this night,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “His authenticity is the foundation to his career and we are thrilled to have him.”
Bret Michaels got his big break with the band Poison and since then has achieved a successful solo career and become a reality television star on shows like VH1’s “Rock of Love” and NBC’s “The Apprentice.” His most recent album, “Custom Built” released in July 2010 was a chart topper at #1 on the Hard Rock Billboard’s Hot 100 list. Bret teamed up again with VH1 to do a family centered docu-series “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.”
Bret Michaels is not only a rock and reality icon, he also donates and helps raise money for many charities. In 2011, Michaels performed at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night to support those fighting Parkinson’s disease.
The “Get Your Rock On” solo tour and Poison’s 25th Anniversary Tour in 2011 proved to be a rockin’ year for the performer, and Bret Michaels is ready to take on 2012 as another year of great rock and roll music, including a stop at the 2012 Stanislaus County Fair.
The 2012 Stanislaus County Fair opens Friday, July 13th for a 10-day run. Fair guests can count on an award-winning experience that has been over 100 years in the making. Discounted Fair admission tickets, unlimited ride wristbands and Arena event tickets will be on sale beginning Saturday, May 5.
