Lindsey Pavao, a singer from Manteca and someone who has performed in Turlock, will be singing on NBC’s show “The Voice” on Monday night trying to garner America’s votes to stay in the national singing competition.
Lindsey has performed in Turlock with her former band, A Colourado, in 2006-07 during the War Memorial shows, and now she’s asking for Turlock’s (and all of America’s) vote to keep her dreams alive on The Voice.
On the February 5th episode of The Voice after the Super Bowl, Lindsey made Christina Aguilera push her button in less than 30 seconds on the second season of NBC’s vocal competition, “The Voice.”
Lindsey Pavao performed Trey Songz’s hit, “Say Aah,” in front of the show’s four celebrity coaches, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee-Lo Green, and Adam Levine (of Maroon 5) and made all but Levine choose to push their button to ask her to be part of their team.
Lindsey chose to be on Christina Aguilera’s team.
The next challenge Lindsey faced on The Voice occurred on March 12th when Christina Aguilera’s singers, Lee Koch and Lindsey Pavao, battled it out for a place in the live stages of The Voice when they both sang “Heart-Shaped Box” by Nirvana.
Lindsey won over her coach, Christina Aguilera, beating out Lee Koch and has now moved on to the next stage of the singing competition.
The field of competing singers has been narrowed to 24 artists, including Lindsey, and now they must sing for their lives as America votes for who should move on.
Lindsey will be performing on Monday, April 2, 2012, at 8pm during the first week of live performances with the hope of winning over America and getting them to vote for her during the NBC singing competition.
