The 2nd Annual Moonlight & Margaritas benefit dinner event will be held for the Salvation Army in Turlock at Pageo Lavender Farm on August 11th, from 6pm – 10pm.
Turlock Salvation Army Board Member Jerry Powell said that last year the inaugural event raised about $10,000 by selling 225 tickets but that the event’s organizer expect more this year.
“We expanded the event to 350 tickets and hope to raise about $15,000 this year,” said Powell.
La Mo Cafe will be serving food for those attending while there will also be margaritas, beer, lavender lemonade, & shaved ice served, live music by Livin’, raffle prizes, live auction, and fun… all under the moonlight.
Tickets are $50 per person and there are a limited amount of tickets available. All proceeds from ticket sales, raffle tickets, and the live auction will benefit the Turlock Salvation Army.
