Frank Joseph Silveira
January 22, 1929 – April 20, 2013

Frank Joseph Silveira, 84, passed away April 20, 2013 in Modesto, California. Frank was born on January 22, 1929 in Turlock to Jose & Maria Silveira. He was raised in Turlock and attended Turlock Schools.

He enlisted the US Army and served in Korea from 1951 -53 in the infantry.

He married Evelyn Texeira on November 15,1953 at Sacred Heart Church.

He owned a family dairy in Turlock for over 20 years. He retired from working for Norman Lucas Dairy, with whom he had a very special relationship.

Frank enjoyed woodworking and reading country western novels. Frank & Evelyn enjoyed going to Pismo with their puppy in their travel trailer.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Jose & Maria Silveira, his wife Evelyn Silveira.

He leaves behind 2 children, Frankie Silveira (Brenda), Mary Jane Cullum (Kevin), 3 grandchildren, Joshua Cullum (Dawn), Melissa Vierra (Lloyd) and Megan Silveira, 2 great grandchildren, Lexi and Zoey Evelyn Vierra.

Visitation will begin at 5pm and conclude with the Rosary at 7pm, on Thursday, April 25 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd.

Funeral Mass to be held on Friday, April 26 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.

Grateful appreciation to Pacifica Senior Living for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alexander Cohen Hospice House, 2201 Euclid Ave. Hughson, CA 95326.
