Starting this weekend, discounted admission, arena, and ride tickets for the 2013 Stanislaus County Fair will go on sale for a limited time.

The fair box office will sell discounted fair admission tickets, arena tickets, and unlimited ride wristbands from 9 a.m. May 4 until 7 p.m. July 11.

Tickets can be purchased either at the fair box office, located at 900 N. Broadway in Turlock, or via the fair website. Tickets will also be available for purchase at select Valley First Credit Union Banks in Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, and Oakdale.

Admission tickets, a $12 value, will be on sale for $10 each. Unlimited wristbands for rides, normally $30, will be $23 each. Arena event tickets are priced differently for each event and should be purchased early, as space is limited for each event. Guests will also be able to purchase discounted season passes, a $120 value, for $75.

The 2013 Stanislaus County Fair will open on July 12 for a 10-day run. After 100 years of continuous fun for the whole family, the Stanislaus County Fair brings new and entertaining experiences to the community each year. This year, the children’s area will feature the new and highly anticipated Wizard’s Challenge, a magical world of science sponsored by Sky Trek Aviation.

The 2013 Stanislaus County Fair will also feature 10 nights of free concerts included with fair admission, a total of four stages of live entertainment, nearly 30,000 local exhibits, and over 1,750 animals.

The FoodMaxx Arena will feature various metal-mashing motorsports during the 10-day run, as well as a rodeo.
