The Blue Owl Event at CSU Stanislaus: A Night of Poetry, Art and Music

In an effort to showcase local artists, California State University, Stanislaus is inviting the community for a free evening of poetry, music and art on May 6.

The Blue Owl Event is a walk-through expo that will consist of poets speaking, artists creating, and musicians performing – all in one place at one time. The fine artists will simultaneously perform in one space, creating an atmosphere where guests can walk through various exhibits and interact with the performers.

By gathering community members, CSU Stanislaus students, and other local creatives, the Blue Owl Event’s main goal is promote local artists to the public.

Food will also be available to guests, and is provided by the help of local organizations supporting community arts.

The Blue Owl Event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 6 at the CSU, Stanislaus Main Dining Hall, located at One University Circle in Turlock.
