A 27-year-old Turlocker was arrested Friday after he fell off a stolen motorcycle in an apparent attempt to flee from a Turlock Police sergeant.

The sergeant arrested Derik Coronado during what began as a regular traffic stop.

The sergeant initiated the traffic stop at approximately 12:23 a.m. Friday, after seeing Coronado drive by in the 100 block of Starr Avenue in Turlock. Coronado, who appeared to be attempting to flee the traffic stop, accidentally locked the front brakes on the bike and fell head over heels.
