With summertime swiftly approaching, people across the nation are pulling out their barbecues and getting ready to grill with friends and family.

Those in need of a refresher course – or some tricks to take their grilling to the next level – have a chance to learn at an upcoming cooking demonstration and gourmet food tasting event at the Greenery Nursery and Garden Shop.

The free demonstration will see Greenery staff members share ideas and tips for the barbecue season. By demonstrating how to use grilling planks, rubs, Char-Crust, and sauces from their gourmet pantry, the Greenery staff will make sure that participants learn everything necessary to cook up some amazing barbecue-style foods just in time for summer.

The free, public event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 8, and will be held at the Greenery Nursery, located at 742 E. Olive Ave. in Turlock.

For more information, visit www.greenerynsy.com, or call (209) 632-4214.
