Christmas is usually associated with snowfall – not triple digit temperatures. But the Stanislaus County Fair is already thinking about the holidays, as an annual July toy drive will help local children receive Christmas gifts this year.
The Christmas in July Toy Drive will be held on July 18 at the Stanislaus County Fair, as the fair partners with The Salvation Army to help underprivileged children. Fair guests who donate two or more toys will receive two carnival ride tickets from Butler Amusements. A local mobile party and wedding dj from Manteca will be playing Christmas music.
According to the Stanislaus County Fair, last year’s toy drive saw guests donate more then 3,200 toys for the Salvation Army. Toys can also be purchased from vendors at the fair, and donated to the toy drive.
The annual toy drive will be held at the fairground's gates on July 18. The Stanislaus County Fair will open for a ten-day run starting July 12.
