Miss the award-winning works on display at the Turlock City Arts Commission's Spring Juried Art Show?

Art aficionados have one last chance to see the cream of the Spring Juried Art Show crop during a special extended run at the Turlock City Hall Gallery.

“It's like the best of the best of the show,” explained Turlock City Arts Commissioner Sergio Alvarado.

The 13 art pieces on display represent the first, second, and third place finishers in each art category, as well as the Best of Show – an ink on paper piece called “Happy Isles” by Modesto's Milt Bullard.

The works were originally displayed at the Carnegie Arts Center as part of the Spring Juried Art Show. This first-ever extended run at the Turlock City Hall Gallery includes only the award winning pieces.

“It gives people a chance to see a little bit longer,” Arts Commission Chair Lynn Gaiser-Saraille said.

The show will run through the end of August. All pieces are for sale, and one has already been sold.

The Turlock City Hall Gallery is open during normal City Hall business hours. Turlock City Hall is located at 156 S. Broadway. Admission is free.
