Code of the West Productions is holding the Turlock Gun Show this weekend, 9 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds.

There will be between 75 to 80 vendors with thousands of guns. Admission is $10 and kids 12 and under are free.

Code of the West co-owner Peggy Smith says that in the past year attendance and sales at their gun shows has increased between 30 to 40 percent, even though the number of vendors selling guns has remained steady.

“I think a lot of people are buying guns while they can, before laws change,” she said.

Hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages will be available for purchase.
