Apr 1967 ~ Nov 2013
Heaven has a new angel. Brett LeRoy Lee, 46 years old, died in Los Banos. California. He was born to Arthur and Theda Lee in Worland, Wyoming in April of 1967. Brett grew up in Colorado and graduated from Bear Creek High School. He served an honorable two year full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Brett married Susan Klitgaard and they lived happily together for 21 years. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Secondary Education Degree in History and French. He spent his first years teaching at Bennion Jr. High and then later received his Master’s Degree in education at the University of Utah. Brett became an assistant Principal for Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California. He then moved on to Los Banos High School where he was also an Assistant Principal. Brett then had the great honor of opening up a brand new high school in the City of Los Banos. He was the beloved first Principal of Pacheco High School who found joy and fulfillment in educating his young fabulous students there. Brett served selflessly as a Bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved his school, his church, his students and staff, and most of all he loved his family. Brett is loved by all who knew him and even though he was able to accomplish so much in his life he was always a humble, gracious man. He referred to himself as “..just a little boy from Wyoming who tried to do the right thing.” Many lives were blessed by Brett’s presence in this world and Heaven truly does have a new angel. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Brett is survived by his wife Susan, his two children: Misty and Taylor, his father and mother: Arthur and Theda Lee, and his three brothers: Maury (Toni) Lee, Kerry (Hui Shiang) Lee, and Shaun (Hui-Ju) Lee, and many other loving family members.
