Don’t miss the new holiday performance from the dream team that brought “It’s a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play” to The Gallo Center in 2011. The Department of Theatre at California State University, Stanislaus is bringing back a taste of the 1940s-era onstage radio show with “Christmas Stories: The Radio Plays.”
The show promises a number of delightful stories, featuring “The Gift of the Magi” as well as other well-known and well-loved holiday tales. A Tracy Wedding DJ will also play.
CSU Stanislaus invites viewers to “relive the bygone days of a golden era” in this festive and heartwarming collection of stories. The performance promises poignant and humorous sounds, stories and songs that will rekindle the spirit of Christmas.
The first show is tomorrow at 8 p.m. Two shows will be performed on Saturday, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. ,and the last performance is at 2 p.m. Sunday.
