The Turlock Police Department is currently searching for a missing 8-year-old Turlock boy who did not return home from school Thursday afternoon.
The boy, Carlos Perez, was last seen in the area of Rose Avenue as he got off the school bus. He was wearing a green jacket, striped shirt and blue jeans, and was carrying a black backpack.
No further information is available at this time.

Anyone with information regarding Carlos' whereabouts is asked to call the Turlock Police Department at 209-668-1200.
UPDATE: The Turlock Police Department reports that Carlos has been found and is home safe and sound.
