A serial burglar has struck three California State University, Stanislaus offices in the past week, stealing computers and technology equipment.<br /> <br /> The California State University Stanislaus University Police Department has named Scott Tackett, 22, as the alleged thief and suspect. He remains at-large.<br /> <br /> Surveillance footage shows Tackett entering campus facilities during off hours on Dec. 31, when he allegedly stole a computer and an external hard drive from Demergasso-Bava Hall Room 122. He struck again on Jan. 2, when he allegedly stole two computers from the University Student Union room 200.<br /> <br /> Tackett allegedly broke in to university property yet again last night. He allegedly took laptops, a brand new desktop, and other items from CSU Stanislaus Office of Information Technology on the southwest side of the Library.<br /> <br /> Tackett is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.<br /> <br /> Tacket has prior arrests for DUI, several burglaries, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and numerous moving vehicle violations including driving with a suspended license.<br /> <br /> The investigation is ongoing. Officers have increased patrols throughout campus in hopes of catching Tackett.<br /> <br /> The CSU Stanislaus University Police Department asks the community to not approach Tackett if they see him, and to immediately call 9-1-1.<br /> <br /> Persons with information should call University Police at 209-667-3114.
