The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department is asking the community for help in locating a 46-year-old woman who disappeared in Modesto earlier this month.

Nicholle Yarnell was last seen leaving her Modesto home on the morning of Jan. 10. At the time of her disappearance, Yarnell was headed to a store near the intersection of Paradise and Grimes roads.

Yarnell's husband went looking for her when she did not return home. He found the vehicle she had been driving at the store. All of her personal belongings were still in the car, the Sheriff's Department said.

Yarnell has not made any contact with family or friends since her disappearance.

Sheriff's Department detectives are actively seeking Yarnell, and have now turned to the community for assistance.

Anyone who sees Yarnell or knows her whereabouts is asked to call Det. David Hickman at 209-525-7042. Anonymous tips can be left by calling 209-521-4636, texting “Tip704” to 274637, or visiting http://www.modestopolice.com/CrimeStoppers.
