Julian “Joe” Mabalcon Obituary

Julian "Joe" Mabalcon
1950 – 2014

Joe was born in Turlock to Julian and Cleo Mabalcon in 1950 and passed away in Turlock at the age of 64. Joe attended Schendel and El Capitan Grade Schools and graduated from Livingston High School. After graduating, he joined the US Army and then settled in Delhi with his brothers and sister. He loved to hang out with his family, BBQ, playing cards and the guitar. Joe enjoyed reading his bible and was a big history buff. In 1984, he got married and had a daughter Juel and they lived in Stevinson for over 18 years.

Joe was a character and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter Juel (Dusty) Monroe of Turlock; siblings Jan Mabalcon and Deborah Mabalcon both of Turlock and grandson Brawlin Monroe. Joe is preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeffrey Mabalcon.

Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 1:00-6:00p.m. Rosary and Mass will be at St. Mary Catholic Church in Stevinson on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 9:00a.m. with burial to follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
