California Highway Patrol responded to an accident just outside of Turlock Monday night, arresting a driver for DUI.
According to CHP spokesperson Officer Eric Parsons, Jacob Hill, 32, of Denair, was driving a 2001 Honda Civic eastbound on East Monte Vista Avenue near Waring Road when he drifted into the oncoming lane.
Upon drifting, Hill collided with a 2010 Toyota Prius traveling westbound on East Monte Vista Avenue driven by Lauren Ealy, 31, of Turlock.

CHP found that Hill had been intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI.
No injuries were reported.

I really don’t understand why people drink and drive after they know the consequences they are very likely to face.
