Turlock Homeowner Interrupts Burglary in Progress

A homeowner interrupted a burglary in progress at their Turlock home on Tuesday evening.

A man broke into a home in the 1100 block of East Main Street around 6:20 p.m., where the homeowner found the burglar, said Turlock Police Department spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

Upon being seen, the burglar fled the scene without taking any items.

Turlock Police were called to the scene. After an extensive search of the area, the suspect was not found.

Turlock Police are looking for a Hispanic male, approximately 18 years of age, with a medium build and a shaved head. He was wearing a white jacket and blue jeans at the time of the burglary.

He was last scene on foot near Main Street.
