Bessie Grissom
Jan. 1939 – Feb. 2014

Bessie M. Grissom, 75, of Delhi, CA, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Emanuel Medical Center. She was born January 29, 1939 in Oklahoma to Willie and Iva Harris. She lived in Firebaugh, CA before settling to Delhi 60 years ago. She married Lloyd Grissom in 1956. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, riding horses, and loved gardening.

She is survived by her two sons Stanley and wife Ada Grissom and Debs Grissom of Delhi; two sisters Iva Davenport and Lula Mae Grissom both of Turlock; and grandson Stanley Grissom Jr. of Delhi. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Grissom, sister Mattie Lee Campbell and brother Roy Debs Harris.

Visitation will be held from 1pm – 6pm on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Allen Mortuary. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Turlock Memorial Park.
