Sudden rainstorms led to flooding across Turlock this weekend. But the flooding didn’t stop Turlockers from enjoying their weekends.

One man used a little ingenuity – and a few trash bags – to make some improvised rain boots to stay dry while walking to his car.

On another side of town, a couple of friends took a raft out on what they called “Lake Turlock” in their front yard.

And another man didn’t let a little flooding stop him from taking his dog to the park.
