The Turlock Unified School District will offer a free special education parenting class series, entitled “Understanding the Individual Education Process.”
The classes will be held March 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the district office, room 102 or from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the district office in rooms WW5 and WW7. The district office is located at 1574 E. Canal Dr., Turlock.
Presenters will cover numerous topics, including parental rights, how the IEP process works, and what services a child could be eligible for.
Childcare will be provided for the 6 to 7:30 p.m. session only and a Spanish interpreter is available upon request.
