Turlockers lined up at the Prime Shine Express Car Wash on Golden State Boulevard, looking to sparkle up their cars after a few days of rain.
Following a historically dry winter, the skies opened wide last week. That rain left countless water spots on local vehicles. Yet more rain is expected today, tomorrow, and potentially Sunday, according to the National Weather Service, potentially getting those cars dirty once again.
Long lines at the Prime Shine Express Car Wash may soon be a thing of the past, as the chain is set to open its second Turlock location. A Prime Shine is currently under construction on Monte Vista Avenue, near Dels Lane.
That new car wash will become the first tenant of a shopping center which will, in theory, one day include the Ten Pin Fun Center bowling alley; development of the Ten Pin has been stalled for years due to financing woes.
