Wait no more for Monte Vista Avenue to be repaved in front of California State University, Stanislaus – work resumed this week.

The Turlock City Council approved a $887,037.25 project to repave Monte Vista Avenue between Crowell and Geer roads in September 2012. The project will install a rubberized asphalt overlay, similar to that used in the repaving of Fulkerth Road.

The project began before Christmas with the new concrete median and updated curbs and gutters, but was put on hold shortly after due to the weather being too cold to install the temperature sensitive rubber asphalt.

Due to increasing temperatures, the project has now resumed.

You mean they resumed the landscaping project. Seeing is believing. The whole town needs repaving.
