A Turlock Police Officer was involved an automobile accident while transporting a suspect in custody through Ceres Monday morning.
At 7:44 a.m., the officer collided with a civilian vehicle at the intersection of Whitmore Avenue and Della Drive in Ceres, said Ceres Police Department spokesperson Carissa Higginbotham.
Two individuals involved in the accident were transported to a local hospital, but Ceres police would not release any information about what vehicle the injured were traveling in.
Ceres police would also not release the names of anyone involved in the accident.
